Grants are available for outdoor environmental, ecological, agricultural, or other natural resource-based education and recreation programs serving youth. The Washington State Legislature created the No Child Left Inside grant program to provide under-served youth with quality opportunities to experience the natural world. Washington State Recreation and Conservation Office: No Child Left Inside Grant Program Local agencies, special purpose districts, Building new skate parks, tennis courts, swimming pools, and trails.The program provides funding to preserve and develop outdoor recreation resources, including parks, trails, and wildlife lands. Washington State Recreation and Conservation Office: Land and Water Conservation Fund Removing bulkheads to restore natural beach functions.The ALEA program is targeted at re-establishing the natural, self-sustaining ecological functions of the waterfront, providing or restoring public access to the water, and increasing public awareness of aquatic lands as a finite natural resource and irreplaceable public heritage. They also may be used to provide or improve public access to the waterfront. Washington State Recreation and Conservation Office: Aquatic Lands Enhancement AccountĪLEA grants may be used for the acquisition, improvement, or protection of aquatic lands for public purposes. Nonprofit 501(c)(3), or (19) of the Internal Revenue Code government entity including state, county or city agency K-12 public or nonprofit private school, charter school, community/junior college, state/private college or university or a church or other faith-based organization with a proposed project that benefits the community They include a variety of organizations, such as animal shelters, elder services and community clean-up projects. The Local Community Grants are designed to address the unique needs of the communities where Walmart operates.
